Hottinger Avenue Renovation
Home Design & RenovationThis project was a high-impact, full-scale gut-rehab of a 1942 ranch. Acting as the general contractor and lead designer, I oversaw the project that included critical structural repairs, including post-fire recovery, with design-forward decisions that maximized the home's modest footprint. By incorporating reclaimed Charleston shutters into custom cabinetry, restoring original hardwoods, and strategically relocating infrastructure to carve out new utility spaces, we transformed a dated property into a character-rich, highly functional residence. This renovation proved that intentional, budget-conscious design can successfully more than double a property's market value.
